My name is Tamika and I am a USSCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense and NRA Certified Firearms Instructor & Certified in Basic Pistol. I became a Firearms Instructor because there are not a lot of women instructors, nor a lot of women of color instructors. I felt there is a need for women to be able to protect themselves if a situation happens. When trained by a woman, it gives women a safe space and a sense of comfort to know that they are not alone.

As a firearms owner, it's important to be trained correctly, so you will know how to use your firearm effectively. Also, it's important for you to know the laws and what your responsibility as an adult is when it pertains to be a responsible firearm owner. These classes are open to both women and men.
